Trilogy about a girl named Retra who after her brother runs away from their strict rule-bound town to the mystical land of Ixion- an island of ever-night and parties, follows his footsteps and runs away be together again. When she arrives she notices that she is different from the other teenagers in that she does not just want to party and have fun and thus the dark creatures in control of the island are suspicious of her. As she discovers the secrets of the island and forms a bond with its attractive yet evil leader she realises that there is a lot of lives at steak, including her and her brother's.
I do recommend! Once again another addictive series that I couldn't get enough of. :) The books are structured really well and I was keen to read the next book in the series after each book. Also, this is a really good example of not judging a book by its cover (and title) because honestly, they are weird af.
