This book is about a girl named Gemma who was at an airport with her parents when she met an attractive guy who, unbeknownst to her, slips a drug into her drink when she isn't looking and takes her to outback Australia. The novel is about her starting to see Ty (her captor) in a different light while she tries to deal with her new life that she can't escape from.

This book is really really really good! It is written so well I felt like it could be me who was taken. The set out of the book is so clever and it really helps to tie off the ending- which is realistic and perfect. Lucy Christopher has developed the book so your view of Ty alters as the book progresses in a way that is makes the reader (me) get Stockholm syndrome. When the book ends you really contemplate everything that happened and you keep replaying everything in your mind- its beautiful. One of those books that you feel really connected to the characters.
