Wolves of Mercy Falls 8/10

The Wolves of Mercy Falls Trilogy by Maggie Stiefvater

Book 1: Shiver 8/10 Book 2: Linger 7.9/10 & Book 3: Forever 8/10
Trilogy about a girl named Grace who after being attacked by wolves as a young child, is from then on always drawn to the wolves living in the woods, especially the one with the bright yellow eyes. In the summer, Grace falls in love with a yellow-eyed boy who she discovers he is no ordinary human, but the wolf always watching her; Sam. Together they're trying stop all the things that are forcing them to be apart.

This book is so beautiful. Maggie Stiefvater has such an amazing way with words I have quotes of hers stuck all around my room. She made me laugh and cry and I love that. The series gets better as it goes along. The book is written in a duel perspective alternating between Sam and Grace (and sometimes others). Sam and Grace's relationship is so beautiful I want it for myself. Stiefvater goes into such detail of both the surrounding and the characters that the world of Mercy Falls feels so real in my head and my emotions align with the characters in the books. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing read with some nice tea while you are sitting on a hammock in a garden of roses. *Also the books are written in coloured ink which is awesome!*

NOTE: There is a spinoff kinda thing called Sinner- focusing on two of the characters in forever (the third book) which is also very good. I have written a review about it below!

Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater

8.5/10 :)
The adjoining novel to the Wolves of Mercy Falls Series. Not about Sam and Grace but Cole, the very attractive, cocky, rude rock star who is in love with Isabel, the gorgeous, snappy, independent, smart girl who is trying to make a life for herself in Los Angeles. The book is all about their relationship and ohmagod its amazing. Once again Stiefvater has outdone herself. Their relationship is so difficult but so clear- it has been constructed cleverly especially with the alternating perspective between Isabel and Cole. Also, Cole's sarcasm makes me laugh throughout the entire book and his lyrics are awesome. I wish the band he was in in the books NARKOTICA was real! YESYESYES Recommend!!!!!
